Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance Service (CEIAG)

We are proud to announce that the Skill Up Somerset team from Dorset and Somerset Training Providers Network (DSTPN) is working in partnership with Somerset Council to deliver a new Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance service (CEIAG) as part of the Local Authorities Adult Community Learning offer across Somerset.

The aim of the service is to provide practical CEIAG to help people navigate their way through education or employment barriers such as offering careers advice and guidance, job searching or CV support, interview preparation information, helping individuals get into education or understanding training costs, assisting with searching for volunteer opportunities or joining community groups, or understanding your benefits entitlements

Through this support, Skill Up Somerset hope to improve community integration and social mobility, nurture aspirations for success, improve social well-being and support people take the next step along their education or employment journey.
