What Our customers say

  • “It was invaluable having someone impartial available to answer my questions about Skills and Apprenticeships and what training is available.

They were able to do the research for me to find the most appropriate training provider/college.
Until I spoke to the Apprenticeship and Skills Adviser, I didn’t know that I could upskill my current employees, I thought that Apprenticeships were just for young people starting a new job,

I would certainly recommend getting in contact with Skill Up West Somerset to find out what funding and training is available.”

  • Skill Up has been an extremely effective source of support for Home-Start West Somerset, enabling 2 employees and 2 volunteers in our organisation to develop their skills and knowledge and become qualified in ante-natal provision ( which is a huge need for in the area) Marie from Skill Up was very helpful and proactive in coordinating all the Somerset maternity services to make sure that the qualifications we were seeking had full approval from those who would promote our service. A fantastic all-round professional service from Skill Up-Thank You
