The next series of Young HPC Careers Workshops are now live! Anyone interested in attending any of these workshops will need to join the Young HPC programme and wait to receive the booking links in your βWelcomeβ email.

CV Writing and Applications Workshop
Learn how to write a great CV and complete applications that will get you noticed! HPC Hiring managers will also share what they look for from applicants and answer any questions you have. Plus, all attendees will get the chance to write their own CV and earn two digital badges to showcase the skills they learned throughout the session.

Interview Techniques Workshop
Learn how to impress potential employers at future apprenticeship and job interviews! This event will help you understand key interview techniques then put this learning into practicethrough short βmock interviewsβ with experienced HPC hiring managers (who will also offer valuable feedback to help you perfect your interview skills so youβre ready for the real thing).

Next Steps Workshop and HPC Site Tour
Learn how nuclear works at the HPC Visitors Centre and go on a bus tour of Hinkley Point C. We will also take you through a typical Apprenticeship Assessment Day so you can prepare for this important part of the application process and try some of the activities that may be included.

The EDF Maintenance Team are available to speak to students about HPC apprenticeship opportunities
They can deliver a 60-minute session in schools and colleges to talk about HPC, nuclear energy, net zero, and their own apprenticeship/job role. They will also outline the hugely popular Level 3 EMTA apprenticeship and introduce the specific support available to help students prepare for each stage of the EMTA application process. Finally, they will run a short, practical task linked to the Engineering Maintenance role and take part in a Q&A session.
